Ingredients
Whole squid, 2 pc
Carrot (sliced), 1 /4 pc
Onion (sliced), 1 /2 pc
Jalapenos (sliced), 2 pc
Green onion (chopped), 2 tbsp
Cabbage, 1 cup
Gochujang, 1 tbsp
Soy sauce, 4 tbsp
Korean chili flakes, 3 tbsp
Sugar, 3 tbsp
Corn syrup, 1 tbsp
Garlic (minced), 1.5 tbsp
Sesame oil, 1 tbsp
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare vegetables by slicing carrot, onion, jalapenos, cabbage, and chopping green onion.
Step 2
Clean the squid, score the inside in a crosshatch pattern, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, chili flakes, sugar, corn syrup, and garlic.
Step 4
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add vegetables and cook until slightly softened.
Step 5
Add the sauce
Step 6
Add squid and stir-fry quickly until just cooked.
Step 7
Finish with sesame oil, then garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
Step 8
Enjoy with a bowl of rice!
